This year's "Four Wheeler Pickup Truck of the Year" is the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2.
According to GM Authority, Chevrolet delivered the Silverado ZR2 too late in 2022 for it to be eligible for MotorTrend's Four Wheeler Pickup of the Year.
Since contestants in the Four Wheeler Pickup of the Year must be "either all-new or extensively modified," the ZR2 required
an eligibility extension to compete for the 2023 championship due to its delayed release.
For 2023, the standards can only be met by the Ram Heavy Duty Rebel
and the Chevrolet Silverado ZR2. Participants in the Four Wheeler Pickup Truck of the Year competition are judged on their ability to do the following tasks while under pressure:
